Wearable Art Awards Showcase 2015

The Work of Robyn Caughlan

Wearable Art Awards 2015 was proud to showcase the remarkable textile art work of Robyn Caughlan, one of Australia’s foremost artists with an international reputation.

Inspired by the Australian landscape and her Aboriginal heritage, Robyn creates stunning hand painted gowns. Her works have graced catwalks across the globe – from the Mercedes Fashion Week in the Australia to Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Teen Australia and Miss Earth Australia.

Robyn's designs have brought her acclaim overseas in Egypt, Singapore, Finland, the United Arab Emirate, the UK and Italy.

Robyn has won prestigious awards - in 2009 the Deadly Award for the Deadliest Dress - and two of Robyn’s gowns cen be seen at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.

We sincerely thank Robyn for generously supporting the Alice Springs Wearable Art Awards, and showcasing such fantastic gowns from her award winning collection.
